Cara Biasucci came to Texas McCombs in 2011 to develop and produce Ethics Unwrapped. She is a filmmaker, author, and educational designer. As a freelance filmmaker in Washington, D.C., she wrote, produced, directed, and edited for a wide range of clients including Discovery Times, American Public Television, HGTV, DIY Network, Johns Hopkins Medicine, New England Patriots, and the National Gallery of Art. Cara’s films have been broadcast on public television, screened in festivals around the world, and been supported by (among others) The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, Engender Health, and Women in Film. She received her M.F.A. in Film & Video Production from The University of Texas at Austin, earned her B.A. in philosophy magna cum laude from Bowdoin College, and taught media production at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before joining Texas McCombs.
Lazaro Hernandez, Producer for Ethics Unwrapped, animated 51 short videos for our latest 2D series that was released in 2017 – Ethics Defined, our glossary. Before joining Ethics Unwrapped full time, Lazaro worked as a news reporter for various print publications and as a videographer and video editor for Univision 62 in Austin. Lazaro holds a B.S in Radio-Television-Film and a Bachelor of Journalism from The University of Texas at Austin.
Ian Ishak is the Program Coordinator for Ethics Unwrapped. He is passionate about graphic design and has created many of the digital and print assets used by the program. He received his M.A. in Advertising from UT Austin and his B.A. in Communications from the University of Northern Iowa. He also serves as the Interface Manager for the Department of Business, Government & Society in the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin.
